THE TRUST

Trustees

The Trust is currently managed by 5 elected Trustees of whom 2 retire every second year. Elections were due to be held in August 2009 but as there were only two nomination by the closing date 16 June 2009 (in spite of extensive advertising) for the two vacancies, the Returning Officer declared those persons duly elected. Ganges Singh and Don Thomson were the successful candidates.

The Trust Deed contains strict requirements which have the effect of limiting the eligibility of persons wishing to be a Trustee of Counties Power Consumer Trust. The Eligibility criteria are at this link.

The next scheduled election is planned for mid 2011 at which time 2 Trustees must retire.
